MANNA Asset Management Inc. (MANNA) is Canada’s first Hedge Fund Generator^TM.

MANNA is registered with the Ontario Securities Commission as a Portfolio Manager and an Exempt Market Dealer. It is also registered in Alberta and Quebec.

MANNA’s business model is based on the following two premises:
1. The Canadian economy is currently stronger than most of its rivals in the developed world, and will accordingly grow faster than most rivals and will be attracting an increase in foreign investment; and
2. Emerging hedge fund managers deliver outsize returns and there are, and will be in the next few years, many good, emerging hedge fund managers in Canada who will benefit from MANNA’s generator model.

MANNA will help generate new Canadian hedge funds by:

1. Seeding and accelerating: MANNA is launching Canada’s first Hedge Fund Generator^TM Fund with which MANNA will seed new Canadian hedge fund managers and accelerate the growth of Canada’s best emerging hedge fund managers;
2. Supervising: MANNA will supervise new managers who are unable to obtain registration as a portfolio manager on their own. New managers can start as analysts or associate portfolio managers, under the supervision of MANNA’s two PMs;
3. Building: MANNA has created the infrastructure to assist hedge fund managers to get started. This infrastructure comprises a Managed Accounts platform, a streamlined Canadian onshore fund launch platform, and an Offshore Fund platform;
4. Housing: Based in Canada’s only Hedge Fund Hotel, MANNA is able to advise start-up funds and provide professional office space for those that require it;
5. Growing: MANNA will use its EMD license to create a capital introduction programme and raise new assets for successful managers.
